Eggs Recalled

The FDA has issued a voluntary recall of several brands of eggs for possible salmonella poisoning.  Salmonella poisoning can make anyone sick but could be fatal in children, the elderly or those who are otherwise frail or have weakened immune systems.

Brands of eggs included in the recall are Lucerne, Albertson, Mountain Dairy, Ralph’s, Boomsma’s, Sunshine, Hillandale, Trafficanda, Farm Fresh, Shoreland, Lund, Dutch Farms and Kemps.
