This is a repost of Jeri's post @ CouponSTL. Thanks for letting me repost this every week.
The most cost effective way to shop at Walgreens is to roll your Register Rewards from week to week.
If you are following my weekly Walgreens $5 Scenarios, you have no Register Reward from last week to start with. But, there are a couple of little money-makers this week to start building your Register Rewards again.
Check out all of this week's Walgreens deals HERE.
Transaction #1purchase:
(1) Colgate Total Advanced Toothpaste $3.49
(1) Pilot G2 Pen $1.19
use:
(1) Colgate coupon (7/11/10 SS) - $1.00
(1) Pilot printable coupon -$1.00
Walgreens coupon in July coupon book for Pilot G2 Pens -$1.00
= $1.68 + tax out of pocket and Receive a $3.50 Colgate-Palmolive Register Reward
Note: You should be able to use both a manufacturer and Walgreens coupon for the Pilot Pens. If you have the cashier ring the manufacturer coupon first, you will end up will a small amount of overage. Some Walgreens will not ring up the coupons in this order.
Transaction #2Repeat the 1st transaction
Now you will have (2) $3.50 Colgate-Palmolive Register Rewards
Note: You need to separate the Colgate purchases. Only one Register Reward per offer will print per transaction.
Transaction #3purchase:(1) Gillette Fusion ProGlide Razor $9.89
(2) Dawn Dish Liquid @ $2.29 each = $4.58
(2) Penway 2-pocket folders @$0.09 each = $0.18 (needed as filler to use your Register Rewards)

Items Purchased(2) tubes of toothpaste
